Network Engineer IV

Our client, a leader in network solutions, is seeking a Network Development Engineer to join their team. As a Network Development Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative network development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

Participating in network projects in the areas of network sustaining engineering, deployment, and optimization.

Contributing to operations functions by responding to customer impact events and requests.

Analyzing the network using tools and metrics to ensure optimal performance.

Investigating and solving straightforward technical problems to enhance network reliability.

Learning new networking systems and developing safe implementation strategies.

What's Needed?

Minimum of 5+ years of industry experience in network engineering.

Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience with IP protocols.

In-depth knowledge of major internet routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF.

Experience with major router platforms, particularly Cisco 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, and 76xx.

Robust troubleshooting skills and excellent network analysis fundamentals.
