Nursery Manager

Position: Third in Charge
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday, All year round
Salary: £35,360.00 per annum

In this dynamic position, you will:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
• Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
• Assist staff in updating the EyLog system and maintaining high-quality learning journals.
• Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
• Support the key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
• Maintain accurate records related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
• Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification: Essential.
• Over 1 year of experience in Early Years: Essential.
• Over 6 months of experience in a senior position: Desirable.
• Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations: Desirable.
• Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS: Essential.
• Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential.
