Job Overview As a Manager of Quality Assurance, you will take on a pivotal role in ensuring that our production processes align with high standards of quality and compliance. You will lead a dedicated team in the continuous improvement of our quality management systems. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance Leadership:

Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, developing and implementing comprehensive quality control policies and procedures. Regulatory Compliance Expert:

Ensure the facility meets food safety regulations, collaborating with regulatory bodies during inspections to uphold industry standards. Quality Control Professional:

Monitor quality control measures throughout production, conducting regular inspections to guarantee products meet quality standards. Process Audits and Improvement:

Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and collaborate with relevant departments for effective implementation. Documentation and Record-Keeping Excellence:

Establish and maintain detailed documentation for all quality control procedures and activities. Supplier Quality Management:

Work with procurement to maintain high quality standards for incoming materials, conducting supplier audits to ensure compliance. Training and Development:

Deliver training programs to production staff on quality control procedures, keeping the team informed of updates in standards and regulations. Customer Satisfaction Focus:

Collaborate with customer service to address quality-related concerns, implementing corrective actions to enhance satisfaction. Non-Conformance Resolution:

Lead investigations into quality deviations, executing corrective actions to address root causes. Continuous Improvement Advocate:

Promote a culture of continuous improvement in quality assurance processes, driving initiatives to elevate overall quality performance. Collaboration with R&D:

Partner with the R&D team to ensure new products meet quality standards and provide input during product development. Emergency Preparedness and Response:

Develop and manage emergency response plans for quality issues, leading crisis management efforts effectively. Minimum Qualifications: Three (3) or more years of leadership experience in a production environment. Two (2) or more years of experience with Lean Manufacturing principles. Preferred Qualifications: Four-year degree in Food Science, Biological Science, Chemistry, or a related field. Certification in HACCP Principles and Preventive Controls for Human Food. Strong ability to transform data into actionable strategies. Experience in managing and developing teams. Skilled in interfacing with regulatory agencies.
