Working pattern: Hybrid working with 2-3 Days On-Site including Weetabix Wednesday, where everyone comes into the office for some great collaboration and meetings - it’s a must! While we operate a hybrid working pattern, we are committed to providing flexibility where needed.

The Customer Supply Planner serves as the voice of the customer, prioritising their needs to ensure efficient product delivery and On Time In Full (OTIF) performance. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders across manufacturing, planning, warehousing, transport, and customers. Key responsibilities include producing accurate forecasts and demand signals in partnership with demand, forecasting teams, and commercial partners, aimed at maintaining product availability, reducing excess inventory, minimising costs, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.

• Customer Order Management - Oversee the entire ordering process, including processing, delivery, data alignment, returns, and invoice discrepancies.
• Customer Supply Issues - Proactively address issues affecting customer availability and service.
• Customer Risk Mitigation - Identify and address demand-supply imbalances and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
• Sales Opportunities - Collaborate with the business to reduce slow-moving items and clear aged stock.
• Demand / Forecasting - Lead short to medium-term forecasting and analyse order patterns to improve efficiency.
• Demand / Forecasting Risk Mitigation - Work with planning teams to maximise sales while ensuring future availability.
• Customer / Weetabix Strategy Alignment - Collaborate across functions to align strategies and implement key initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement - Lead and contribute to improvement projects aligned with strategic goals.

Key Know How:

• Self-motivated, organised, fast paced, can-do attitude who takes the initiative.
• Strong customer customer facing role, communication, teamworking and relationship building skills
• Ability to balance the dynamics of volume, sales, profit, and cost requirements.
• Ability to influence and manage multi stakeholders in commercially sensitive situations.
• Numerate and analytical with a high level of accuracy.

Nice To Have:

• Experience in a retail or manufacturing environment in a similar role within FMCG Supply Chain.
• A knowledge of Microsoft D365 or ERP equivalent.
• Weekend cover required approx. once in every 6 weeks.
