Job Overview:
As a Sales Manager, your key responsibility is to establish and maintain productive relationships with agents while collaborating effectively with our underwriting team. You will become the go-to expert for workers compensation inquiries, providing valuable insights and solutions to agents in your territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive performance to meet or exceed premium goals through strategic sales initiatives and effective producer management.
Foster customer-centric relationships by creating and sustaining a focused producer management process.
Research and analyze the external market to identify new products and innovative processes.
Develop and implement training programs for clients and internal teams to enhance efficiency and sales outcomes.
Maintain detailed profiles of producers and establish actionable plans to optimize agency performance.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance automation, online products, and customer communications.
Conduct regular agency visits to maximize production efforts and educate agents on product offerings.
Proactively identify quality agency prospects and assess their fit for our business needs.
Serve as a facilitator and problem solver, addressing agency’s concerns effectively.
Perform scheduled agency audits and recommend actions based on the findings.
Provide monthly reports on market trends and producer performance.
Collaborate with Loss Control, Underwriting, and Claims teams to achieve production objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree.
Five years of experience in insurance and/or sales.
Ability to work independently and solve technical issues related to workers’ compensation.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Experience:
Demonstrated success in sales within the workers compensation or insurance sectors.
Compensation:
Base salary range of $71,000 - $100,000, along with quarterly bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
Working Conditions:
Typical office environment with frequent travel required throughout the territory.
