About the Role:
As a
Sales Executive for Interconnect Solutions , you will engage with our customers as well as internal teams in product development and marketing to promote Amphenol products within your designated territory and accounts. The ideal candidate will create strategies to differentiate our offerings from competitors, expand the customer base, and enhance relationships with existing key global partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Lead sales efforts and closely collaborate with Field Applications Engineering and Business Units within AGIS.
Promote and sell Amphenol AGIS products to established customers while pursuing new prospects.
Identify interconnect opportunities for clients and collaborate with their engineering teams to integrate new products.
Develop and execute a sales plan and growth strategy for your territory and accounts.
Meet and exceed strategic objectives and sales quotas through design wins and comprehensive sales management.
Encourage customers to increase product integration within their designs.
Support the technical aspects of the sales cycle with marketing assistance for product development and implementation.
Provide exceptional customer service to resolve complex interconnect challenges and technical inquiries.
Track customer orders and revenue to ensure alignment with goals.
Build strong relationships through effective communication regarding samples, delivery timelines, specifications, and quality or credit issues.
Deepen your understanding of the market and competitive landscape within your territory.
Stay updated on new products and relevant information that may benefit customers.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing with a technical background or a degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
5+ years of sales experience in High Speed Interconnect, Power, PCBA, or related areas is mandatory.
Knowledge of international business practices is a plus.
Willingness to travel regionally and internationally (50% or more).
Proven ability to negotiate technical design wins, vendor approvals, contracts, and customer partnerships.
Technically savvy with the capability to understand products and provide solutions for customer design needs.
Self-driven, motivated to discover, qualify, and pursue new customers and markets.
Effective communication skills to interact across engineering and managerial levels.
Strong oral and written skills to deliver excellent customer service and foster relationships.
Organizational skills to prioritize and strategize effectively to meet objectives.
Demonstrated leadership abilities to identify and drive opportunities in a global account environment.
Commitment to integrity and ethical behavior in all business interactions, following company policies and legal regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
