About The Role:
As a DevOps Engineer, you'll work closely with the Head of DevOps and collaborate with a seasoned team of engineers and leaders to drive automation initiatives and enhance DevOps capabilities. Your role will involve developing internal tools and applications that streamline workflows, improve system monitoring, and support our continuous delivery pipeline.
What You'll Do:
Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Investigate and resolve help desk issues related to our platform, ensuring timely and effective solutions. Set up and maintain robust monitoring solutions for platform performance and availability. Design and implement a range of technology-driven solutions to meet evolving business and technical needs. Leverage scripting to automate repetitive tasks and optimize operational efficiency. Administer Linux-based environments, including handling SSH tunneling and resolving DNS or network-related issues. Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure. Collaborate with development and support teams to integrate monitoring, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing across systems and services. Manage and support multiple deployment environments including development, staging, sandbox, and production. Provide DevOps support through scripting and programming to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our platform. Contribute to the design, implementation, and deployment of secure, scalable infrastructure, establishing best practices for Docker and Kubernetes environments. What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 4+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role, with 3-5 years of hands-on technical work. Experience designing and developing high-availability, real-time databases for large-scale applications. Skilled in creating microservices, managing servers, generating reports, and supporting a wide range of operational tools. Responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of applications and systems. Develop and maintain automation tools for application deployment and infrastructure management. Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python, Golang, or JavaScript. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and maintain internal software package repositories. Capable of scripting automation tasks using Bash and/or PowerShell. Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, DataDog, New Relic, or similar solutions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams and directly with clients. Able to work effectively both independently and within team environments, especially in fast-paced and dynamic settings. Collaborates closely with development and client support teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Highly organized with excellent time management, prioritization, and attention to detail. Demonstrates a proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to take initiative. Eager to learn emerging technologies and committed to delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
