We're looking for a *client focused *and *experienced *Technical Consultant to provide both reactive and proactive support through frequent onsite visits, to a variety of clients.
This is a high‑visibility consultancy role responsible for taking ownership of clients, and actions and outcomes including complex and high‑priority technical challenges.

*About the Role*
You will be a trusted advisor to our clients, routinely visiting them on site to resolve issues, discuss IT strategy and make recommendations. You'll also deliver complex projects with the support of the consultancy team.
* You'll act as the lead on the workload for your allocated customers.
* Take ownership of your own diary to ensure all work is delivered based on the customers’ requirements.
* Work with the Consultancy Manager to ensure that all work is delivered and assistance is provided where required.
* Support the Bluespires team with reactive visits and help the helpdesk team where possible.
* Develop expert knowledge of the full product suite Bluespires provides plus our contracted support offering.
* Identify contract or project leads and share with the Consultancy Manager and Sales Director.
* Deliver technical projects for clients, including infrastructure installations, migrations and cyber security reviews.
*About You*
We value skills and experience, but we also know people grow in roles. If you meet most but not all of these criteria, we’d still love to hear from you:
* Strong troubleshooting capability across Microsoft 365, Windows desktop, and Windows Server environments.
* Good understanding of Windows Server roles and services, including: Active Directory / Entra ID hybrid environments, DNS and DHCP.
* Experience supporting virtualised environments, including: Hyper-V, Azure infrastructure (IaaS / VM concepts).
* Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including: DHCP and DNS, VLANs and subnetting concepts, VPN fundamentals.
* Expertise of MS Windows Server, MS365 Administration, backup software, firewall configuration, anti-virus and remote connection software.
* Demonstrable experience of successfully developing and maintaining client relationships.
* Relevant, up to date IT related qualifications.
* Ability to own and progress multiple complex or high-impact issues concurrently while keeping clients and internal stakeholders informed.
* Have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
