Technology Transfer Manager

Our client, a pharmaceutical company based in Dublin, is seeking a Tech Transfer Manager to lead manufacturing sciences activities within a GMP-regulated environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing teams and processes involved in converting raw materials and components into finished goods, ensuring the implementation of strategies aligned with long-term business objectives.

• Lead and manage multiple teams involved in supporting and developing manufacturing processes (PhD chemists, Process Validation and Data Science)
  
• Lead a team of PhD Chemists and a development laboratory to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality
  
• Establish and implement long-term strategies for manufacturing operations
  
• Ensure successful Technical Transfer of new products to site manufacturing, collaborating effectively with global technical teams (Pharmaceutical Sciences and Manufacturing Sciences)
  
• Solve complex problems in manufacturing settings, providing innovative solutions
  
• Work with Finance to identify annual opportunities for R&D tax credits
  
• Ensure compliance with global validation standards
  
• Enhance and innovate Data Science, developing the use of computational modelling to ensure right-first-time technical transfer, and advancing the use of AI and other predictive tools
  
• Lead and develop Process Validation teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining the validated state of site manufacturing processes

• PhD in a scientific discipline or equivalent relevant experience
  
• Minimum 10 years’ experience within pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing
  
• Strong experience in technical transfer, process validation, and manufacturing support within GMP-regulated environments
  
• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects and work effectively across cross-functional teams
  

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, scale-up, and process optimisation
