The Role
We are on the lookout for dynamic sales professionals to promote JoVE's innovative products in universities and colleges. The ideal candidate is a results-driven individual who excels in remote work and is eager to grow alongside our company.
Responsibilities
Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closure, consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Develop and implement a strategic territory sales plan.
Present our products, both online and in-person, to researchers, educators, and academic librarians.
Maintain proactive communication with clients and users via email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
Analyze data and trends to inform prioritization of tasks and objectives.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and contribute to team projects and campaigns.
Participate in trade shows and other marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
A college degree.
A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in EdTech or Academic Publishing.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both online and offline settings.
Proficiency with Salesforce and other platforms such as Hubspot.
Confidence in engaging with clients and product users.
Self-motivated, with a strong initiative and results-oriented mindset, eager to acquire new skills.
A resilient attitude and determination to overcome challenges.
