Primary Job Description:

Responsible for assisting in designing and detailing basic to complex machinery and material handling equipment

Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components and systems, including creating detailed drawings and specifications.

Conduct research and analysis to identify and evaluate design options.

Develop and test prototypes to ensure that designs meet performance requirements.

Work with manufacturing and quality control teams to ensure that products are produced efficiently and meet quality standards.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies.

Collaborate with other engineers and technical staff on projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

2+ years of experience in mechanical design.

Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
