Infrastructure Software Developer

We are looking for an Infrastructure Software Developer passionate about AI-driven automation to join our WorldQuant Aligned Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, scalable infrastructure solutions and self-service tools for our growing internal users — with AI at the center of how they think, build, and ship.

• Develop, test and implement infrastructure solutions and self-service tools, leveraging AI-assisted development as a default workflow
  
• Develop and maintain scalable internal APIs, CLIs, MCPs and packages
  
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, including AI-augmented testing and deployment validation
  
• Monitor and manage complex distributed systems — automating alerts and implementing self-healing solutions with AI-driven observability and remediation
  
• Perform AI-assisted code reviews and promote best practices around responsible AI adoption
  
• Optimize for async collaboration with our global team

• Experience as a Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Developer or similar role — years of experience matter far less than demonstrated capability and passion
  
• Proficiency in Python or Go
  
• Experience with IaC tools such as Ansible, SaltStack and Terraform
  
• Hands-on experience with API development and integration
  
• Familiarity with container orchestration, especially Kubernetes
  
• Experience designing xcfaprz and implementing CI/CD pipelines
  
• Deep understanding of complex distributed systems architectures
  
• Demonstrated fluency with AI/ML tools in a development context — AI should already be part of how you work
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly

• Experience building or integrating AI agents for infrastructure tasks (auto-remediation, intelligent provisioning, natural language interfaces)
  
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, MCPs, prompt engineering, RAG patterns, or agentic frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, Google ADK, A2A, etc.)
