Nursery Practitioner

Permanent | Monday – Friday | 40 hours per week | £13.47 per hour

Join us at Footsteps Nursery Cannock , located in the vibrant Orbital Plaza on Bridge Street, Cannock. Our nursery is easily accessible with fantastic transport links to the A5, A460, A34, and M6 Toll, making it convenient for both commuters and families.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in shaping the early experiences of our children. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging learning experiences and planned activities for a key group of children.
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children while working collaboratively within a team.
• Partnering with parents to achieve the best outcomes for each child.
• Assessing and reporting on children's progress to support their ongoing development.
• Being passionate, inspiring, and proactive in your professional growth.
• Creating a fun, caring, and friendly environment.
• Promoting a high-quality learning atmosphere.

What do we need from you?

• A genuine passion and commitment to working in childcare.
• Ability to work shifts between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
• A commitment to continual professional development.
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Relevant qualifications such as NNEB, BTEC National Diploma, CACHE Diploma in Childcare, NVQ Level 2 or 3, or EY Educator.
