This includes the development and implementation of security measures, monitoring and managing security incidents, and providing technical guidance to ensure the secure operation of the systems. Develop and implement security measures to protect information systems and data against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.2. Monitor and manage security incidents, conduct investigations, and produce reports detailing the events and their impact.3. Provide technical guidance on security issues to IT staff and management.4. Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and propose measures to mitigate risks.5. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.6. Conduct security awareness training for staff to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a secure environment.7. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the secure design and development of applications and systems.8. Keep abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and countermeasures.9. Participate in the selection and deployment of security tools and technologies.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, preferably in the Energy industry.3. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Security technologies, including Azure Security, Microsoft 365 Security, and Windows Security.4. Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS) and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical staff.7. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar certification is a plus.8. Experience with security incident management, vulnerability management, and security audits.9. Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently.10.
