Based in our R&D headquarters of Grenoble, you will report to Sven, Conformity Assessment Director. In this position, you are responsible for the management of the Conformity Assessment team’s within the Europe Hub. You will manage 15+ experts in conformity assessment, based in Grenoble, Wielh (Germany) and Spain.

The world we live in is changing. Deglobalization, rising of new domains & technologies, evolving of compliance system and finally digitization put Conformity Assessment in front of a huge challenge.

Your role :

You help sustain our position as a market leadery by managing our conformity assessment strategy and priorities. Eventually, it’s all about growing and defending our market !

Your missions :

  • Manage a great team of high-level conformity Experts with strong global connection
  • Budget and HR Planning for your team
  • Consulting of the different Lines of Business for international or segment-oriented conformity assessment
  • Support the global conformity assessment strategy
  • Build, Influence and Maintain the conformity assessment related Governance
  • Coordination with Certification Bodies
  • Collaboration with the standardization team
  • Support of the Operations and our Global Supply Chain
  • Strong collaboration with the other geographies is required

You will travel 15% of your time, mostly in our Europe locations.

Your profile :

  • Engineer (M.Sc.) in science, technology, engineering and mathematics or alternate education
  • At least 10 years of experience in conformity assessment in a highly normative industrial sector
  • A fundamental knowledge about Business Administration and legal is a clear advantage

Your skills :

  • Fluency in English - C1/2 level (oral, written). French would be a plus.
  • Conformity Assessment is a multi-discipline activity from technology, via Marketing to even a legal approach. Therefore, you shall bring a high curiosity in learning new thinks and connecting with people
  • Knowledge in product conformity assessment and strategies for regions, international markets and segments
  • Knowledge in application of Statutory Instruments (law) and Standards
  • Knowledge about international marketing, especially market entry concepts
  • This position requests soft skills such as: leadership, full autonomy, pedagogy and resilience
