This role will provide frontline support for both IT systems and desktop issues, ensuring smooth operations across all departments, particularly in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Active Directory, Office 365, Windows 10/11, and network systems while offering desktop support and troubleshooting technical problems for end-users.Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line technical support for all IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. Manage and maintain Active Directory, Office 365, DNS, DHCP, Windows 10/11, and Wi-Fi networks. Use remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, RDP) to assist users when necessary. Install, configure, and maintain client workstations and IT equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with systems and applications, including Exchange Online, MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and
Mobile device management (MDM). Support and maintain hardware and software inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting. Collaborate with the IT department to develop, implement, and maintain IT policies and procedures. Provide training and support for new technologies and system updates to staff. Ensure IT systems and processes comply with industry regulations and standards. Communicate updates and resolutions clearly to users and maintain accurate documentation of service requests and resolutions.Essential Skills and Experience: 5+ years of IT experience, including help desk, systems administration, or desktop support roles. Proficiency in managing Active Directory, Office 365, Windows 10/11, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi networks.
Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with systems such as MS Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, VMware, and
Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune). Experience with remote support tools and IT help desk ticketing systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant IT qualifications or certifications are a plus.
