Looking for Product Design Engineer who can support the mechanical design of complex assemblies for Smart Glasses products. Our smart case team is expanding and we are looking to add and grow engineers. This HW team is composed of mechanical, systems, and electrical engineers working with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and launch cases with our next generation of Smart Glasses.This is some text

Required Skills:

Product Design Engineer Responsibilities:

Designing case modules with the support of engineers and our manufacturing partners, from initial design through mass production.

Travel to Asia (~15%) is required to support prototype builds.

Management of overseas vendors

Design of systems and subsystems using CAD software for consumer products

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university

The key skillsets that are being sought include knowledge of manufacturing methods (like injection molded plastic, die casting, CNC Machining, sheet metal, etc), electro-mechanical integration, CAD Modeling & Assembly Experience (NX preferred), and rapid prototyping methods.

Work experience designing in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, with shifts in priorities

Prior experience working with and managing relationships/deliverables with overseas vendors.

Public Compensation:

$111,000/year to $131,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
