About
Key Deliverables:
* Lead the development, review, and delivery of E&I designs in accordance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
* Prepare and maintain detailed electrical and instrumentation drawings, schematics, and specifications.
* Develop and implement local design procedures and standards to ensure compliance with company and industry requirements.
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure design integrity and feasibility.
* Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior designers and engineering teams.
* Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and best practices (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC, ISA standards).
* Identify and resolve design issues, providing innovative solutions while maintaining quality and safety.
* Support project teams in the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and risk assessments.
* Continually improve E&I design processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
* Maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and third-party suppliers.
Key Requirements:
* 5 to 10 years’ experience in E&I design within industrial, energy, or construction sectors.
* Proficient in the use of CAD, electrical design software, and instrumentation design tools.
* Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC, ISA).
* Experience producing P&IDs, cable schedules, loop diagrams, and control system design.
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.
* Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience mentoring junior design staff.
* Excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with project management principles and cross-disciplinary collaboration
