The Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Data Engineer who has a strong foundation in Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable applications primarily in Java. In addition, the candidates ill leverage Spring Batch and cloud native big data technologies such as Azure functions & snow pipes.

While this is a hybrid position, you will primarily have the opportunity to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot. Implement batch processing solutions using Spring Batch to handle large volumes of data efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Front-End developers and Product Owners. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience with Java, including in-depth knowledge of Java 8+. Strong experience with Spring Batch for developing batch processing solutions. Experience with relational databases (Snowflake experience is a plus). Familiarity with cloud-native big data development, especially using Azure tools and services. Proficiency in object-oriented programming and design patterns. Experience with version control systems like Git and build tools such as Maven. Experience working in an Agile environment. Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C#, Node.js, and Python is a plus. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments is a plus. What we offer:
