We are looking for an engineering leader for Amazon CloudFront in Dublin to innovate and solve the hardest problems in scale, security, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage engineering teams to deliver high‑performance CDN services.
- Own the full software development lifecycle: define, prioritize, design, build, test, and release new features.
- Drive innovation in CDN security, intelligent services that analyze customer workloads, and automate resolution of customer issues.
- Operate AWS business with globally distributed servers and massive scale.
- Use data to make decisions and validate assumptions.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
- Experience managing an engineering team and partnering with product and program management.
- Strong technical depth and a focus on operational and engineering excellence.
- Ability to grow teams, code, and customer outcomes rapidly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software products, and define strategy.
- Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and coaching software engineers. xcfaprz
