About

eir business talent are currently recruiting for a Senior Web Developer/Programmer for our client in Trim,Meath and work 3 days a week onsite and 2 days remotely. This is a 36-month contract with probable extensions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop secure, scalable, and user‑centric web applications
  • Design responsive, WCAG 2.1 AA‑compliant front‑end interfaces
  • Build robust back‑end systems supporting workflows (allocation, planning, case management)
  • Integrate with external public‑sector systems (e.g., Department of Education, HSE)
  • Ensure GDPR‑compliant data handling and strong security measures
  • Provide authentication, access control, encryption, and audit capabilities
  • Deliver full technical documentation (architecture, APIs, deployment, user guides)
  • Conduct comprehensive testing (unit, integration, accessibility, performance)
  • Deploy on cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) with CI/CD pipelines
  • Offer ongoing support, maintenance, and SLA‑based incident management
  • Deliver training and knowledge transfer for staff
  • Ensure compliance with public sector standards and accessibility regulations
  • Meet performance metrics (uptime, user satisfaction, timely delivery, issue response)

Requirements

  • Experience of modern front‑end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
  • Experience of server‑side development (Node.js, .NET, or equivalent).
  • Experience of secure API development (REST/GraphQL).
  • Experience of SQL and/or NoSQL data stores.
  • Experience of CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud deployment pipelines.
  • Experience of Government grade security and logging standards.
  • Expertise in designing systems that support data collection and reporting.
