Qualified Nursery Practitioner

Position: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, All year round

Salary: £29,681.60 per annum

Welcome to Cherrystone Nursery , a nurturing day nursery and preschool located in the heart of Stoneleigh, Surrey! We cater to children aged 3 months to 5 years and have recently transformed our outdoor spaces to inspire exploration and play. With a brand new climbing frame, growing patch, wendy house, and creative art area, our nursery is designed to spark curiosity and support every stage of development.

In this fulfilling role, you will:

• Meet each child’s individual needs, delivering high-quality care and education in a safe and secure environment.
• Observe, assess, and plan engaging early years activities that cater to each child’s unique learning journey.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team, showcasing flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
• Follow risk assessments diligently and report any health and safety concerns to management.
• Support the holistic development of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

• Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - essential.
• Fluency in written and spoken English - essential.
• Over 1 year of experience in Early Years - desirable.
• Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable.
