Nursery Practitioner - Level 2
Hours: 40 hours - 4.5 days per week
Salary: £12.56 per hour

We are on the lookout for a passionate Level 2 Practitioner to join our dedicated team on a permanent basis. Here, you’ll be part of a nurturing environment that provides excellent childcare for children aged 0-5 years, as well as an out-of-school club for kids up to 12 years old. Depending on your strengths, you could work with our little ones aged 0-3 or support our preschool and out-of-school club children aged 3-12.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Nursery Practitioner, your main duties will include:
- Creating stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
- Ensuring compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery.
- Supporting the smooth running of the nursery and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
- Building professional relationships and reporting any concerns to management.
- Facilitating a strong key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
- Participating in regular team meetings to stay updated on key priorities and developments.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- A full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification (essential).
- Fluency in written and spoken English (essential).
- Over 1 year of experience in Early Years (desirable).
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements (desirable).
