This position is responsible for cybersecurity management:

Essential Job Functions:

Develop, execute, and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems. Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware. Monitor systems for irregular behavior and set up preventive measures. Support Vulnerability Management by conducting vulnerability scans, reviewing vulnerability and patch data, and making actionable recommendations to drive measurable improvement over time. Drive Compliance Management activities to ensure cybersecurity policies and standards are adhered by performing assessments and collaborating with responsible team members. Manage Security Incidents and Events. Conduct investigations as necessary and provide recommendations on how to manage active incidents and improve the response process. Ensure all cybersecurity documentation meets the Document Management requirements. Assist in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity events. Situational awareness of emerging topics in cybersecurity such as emerging threats, newly identified vulnerabilities, vendor patches, etc. Educate and train staff on information system security best practices. Other duties as assigned. Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field. Three or more years' work experience as a System Security Analyst or related position. Proven experience developing, operating, and maintaining security systems. Knowledge of security systems including anti-virus applications, content filtering, firewalls, authentication systems, and intrusion detection and notification systems. In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and principles. Working experience with security management tools and products. Strong and effective communication skills with the ability to distill down complex vulnerabilities to business impact to internal customers. A strong desire to learn new technologies and contribute to a fast-growing company. Demonstrable teamwork skills and resourcefulness. Possess personal ownership, drive, and urgency to keep moving things forward even in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge. Skills:

Critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems. Strong time management skills and be comfortable working independently. Ability to explain, both verbally and in writing, how security protocols work to internal and external stakeholders. Experience performing basic scripting tasks using only what is found in the environment, such as BASH, PowerShell, Python, Perl, or other scripting languages. An understanding of operating systems such as Windows Server, Windows 10/7, Mac OSX, RHEL, and Ubuntu Linux and the ability to perform basic functions at the CLI. An understanding of cybersecurity as it relates to the software development lifecycle. Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and detailed knowledge of how networks function. An understanding of network and web-related protocols (such as TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, and routing protocols). An understanding of Active Directory, DDNS, Group Policy, Microsoft Windows Server, and Desktop operating systems. An understanding of AWS (Amazon Web Services), GPC (Google Private Cloud), Azure, or other cloud platforms and related technologies is strongly desired. An understanding of systems design and implementation. An understanding of common network, system, and application vulnerabilities. An understanding of security fundamentals (cryptography, least privilege, segregation of duties).
