TITLE : Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Comp:

Up to $100,000/year

Our client is seeking immediate assistance in identifying a candidate for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer direct hire position in Mooresville, IN

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as a vital member of the new sprayer development team, driving innovation and progress. Design and implement new features or design modifications for product improvement, leveraging advanced CAD/CAM tools to enhance performance, quality, and cost-efficiency. Conduct static and dynamic analyses using advanced finite element and other tools to optimize designs. Lead and facilitate engineering design reviews to ensure optimal outcomes. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Produce detailed models, technical drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), and other critical documentation. Design validation test plans and contribute to testing activities for product verification. Collaborate effectively with purchasing teams, suppliers, and manufacturing/assembly departments to align processes and objectives. Oversee and manage Engineering Change Notice (ECN) and Engineering Change Request (ECR) processes to ensure seamless updates and improvements. Must have:

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field 2+ years of experience in design and analysis Proficient in major 3D CAD/Analysis modeling software Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
