In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our investment platform through comprehensive testing and automation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both JavaScript and Java automation, as well as experience with API testing and cloud services. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using JavaScript (JEST) and Java (Cucumber) to ensure the functionality and performance of the platform. • Conduct API testing using tools such as Insomnia and Postman to validate endpoints and ensure they meet specifications. • Perform SQL queries to validate data integrity and support database testing. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and develop test plans for new features and enhancements. • Utilize AWS services for testing environments and automated deployments. • Track and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with development teams. • Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins to streamline testing processes. • Participate in requirements analysis and provide feedback on testability and design for new features. • Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and best practices within the team. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on testing and automation. • Strong proficiency in JavaScript automation using JEST and Java automation using Cucumber. • Experience with API testing tools such as Insomnia and Postman. • Solid understanding of SQL and experience in database testing. • Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based testing environments. • Proficient in using JIRA for issue tracking and project management. • Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD processes. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
