Design Engineer IV

Duties:

We are seeking for an experienced DevOps Engineer as a contractor to join our team to complete specific targeted projects. An ideal candidate would be specialized experience in Devops, software development and security practices.

In this role you will be responsible for delivering projects that makes a significant business impact. You will be working closely with the product security assurance team to implement requirements for SSDF(Secure software Development Framework).

Key Responsibilities:

Integrate security tools and checks (e.g., static and dynamic analysis, dependency scans) into CI/CD pipelines.

Automate vulnerability scanning, code quality checks, and compliance validation processes.

Optimize infrastructure for CI/CD

Skills:

Experience: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer for 7-10 years with a lead role for atleast 1+years.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in CI/CD and version control tools (GitHub, Github Actions, git), cloud platforms (AWS), configuration management tools

Programming and Scripting: Strong experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Containerization: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

Process: Implement branching strategies and code review processes to enhance code quality and collaboration.

Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or Splunk.

System and networking: Familiarity with system administration tasks, including managing Linux and Windows servers, configuring network services, and ensuring system security and performance optimization.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps tools, or related technologies are a plus.

Security Compliance: Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.

Education:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer for 5+ years, with a lead role for atleast 1+years
