Position Summary:
The Business Analytics Coordinator at Rhode Island FC is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from ticketing, marketing and sales channels to provide actionable insights, optimize marketing strategies, and drive business growth.
This role will execute and support Rhode Island FC's digital strategy through content initiatives, ticket sales, and data-driven projects.
Essential Functions:
Analyze trends and track ticket sales for each event at both the macro (event) and micro (sales representative) levels to support sales leadership.
Develop real-time forecasting models to predict total sales for all Rhode Island FC events.
Work with management to schedule, report on, and analyze sales team call campaigns.
Lead and analyze customer research efforts, including online surveys and focus groups.
Collaborate with the ticket sales team to analyze sales reports and ensure data integration across all programs.
Analyze customer accounts, transactions, demographics, and campaign responsiveness to develop actionable profiling and segmentation insights.
Ensure timely and accurate information distribution regarding current sales and upcoming events.
Conduct key research and analysis leading to actionable recommendations for various business functions.
Assist in data coordination and analysis within HubSpot CRM, SeatGeek and other ticketing platforms, including data imports, queries, organization, and integrity maintenance.
Ticket Data Responsibilities:
Support lead generation strategy and define growth goals.
Report on database growth, overlap, and segmentation.
Build and manage all data capture forms.
Collect and interpret consumer data to enhance customer experience, marketing strategies, sponsorship opportunities, and ticketing decisions.
Oversee and execute customer surveys, including design, implementation, analysis, and presentations.
Support marketing, partnerships/sponsorship, premium services, and ticketing teams by fielding internal database-related requests.
Manage and organize customer data, including data cleansing, extraction, segmentation, and analysis.
Provide trend forecasts through market research, predictive modeling, and competitive analysis.
Generate data reports and visualizations using dashboards, reporting tools, and data storytelling techniques.
Develop and execute ticket sales lead campaigns to support sales growth.
Email Marketing Responsibilities:
Develop and execute email and database marketing strategies to promote Rhode Island FC events, merchandise, and initiatives.
Support content strategy, planning, development, and implementation across digital platforms.
Manage distribution lists and audience segmentation for targeted and personalized communication.
Implement regular testing and data-driven optimizations to improve engagement, conversions, and efficiency.
Develop and automate sales-driven email marketing campaigns.
Ensure full compliance with consumer privacy laws and regulations.
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in backend workflows with development teams and third-party vendors.
Collaborate with marketing and ticket sales teams to implement and leverage new marketing automation, CRM, and website assets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in marketing or sales.
Experience with HubSpot CRM management.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools like Mailchimp.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
