We are looking for a Data Analyst to support the technical analysis, automation, and fulfillment of enterprise data requests within the Department's digital infrastructure. This position will be Full-Time, Hybrid, and Contract (3-6 months). With employees expected to work in office 3 days per week.
This position does not offer employment sponsorship. All candidates must be eligible to work without need for sponsorship by employer.
What You’ll Do
Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL scripts within the Snowflake environment to fulfill ad-hoc data requests and perform system-wide data analysis
Review and interpret existing Python and SQL code to troubleshoot errors, suggest improvements, and ensure new automations align with established logic
Develop and deploy Python-based scripts to automate the resolution of recurring support tickets, significantly reducing manual intervention for common data tasks
Perform data profiling and validation within Snowflake and AWS to ensure data integrity across the Project Nexus ecosystem
Serve as the technical point of contact for complex data inquiries, translating business requirements into precise technical deliverables
What You'll Need
Required:
3 years of Snowflake SQL scripting and optimization
3 years of Python programming for data and automation
3 years of code review and interpretation
3 years of data analysis and profiling
3 years of automated scripting for ticket resolution
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Preferred:
3 years of AWS Cloud Data Warehouse experience

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$45 - $54 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
