**
As a Managed Services Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality technical support to managed services customers at LookingPoint. This position is responsible for managing network infrastructure solutions for clients, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide proactive support, troubleshooting, and resolution of network-related issues with Cisco and Palo Alto technologies using industry best practices.
**
* Provide remote and on-site technical support for managed services customers, ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.
* Design, implement, and support Cisco-based network infrastructure solutions for clients, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
* Perform network assessments, capacity planning, and design reviews to ensure client networks meet current and future business needs.
* Proactively monitor client networks to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations, leveraging network management tools and monitoring platforms.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, working with internal teams and vendors to deliver timely solutions.
* Configure and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
* Assist with network upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to clients.
* Collaborate with other engineers and technical teams to support large-scale network deployments and projects.
* Maintain and update documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
* Provide on-call support and assist in network-related emergencies outside of regular working hours.- Train and mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to both customers and internal teams.
**
* Cisco certifications, such as CCNP, or CCIE, are required
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or IT support, preferably in a managed services or Cisco VAR environment.
* Extensive experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls (e.g., ASA, Firepower), wireless solutions, and other network components.
* Strong knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
* Hands-on experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as LogicMonitor.
* Solid understanding of network security best practices, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
* Experience with cloud technologies, SD-WAN, and hybrid network environments is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
* Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
