Cloud Security Architect
to join one of our top clients for an on-site opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role focuses on designing and implementing secure cloud-native architectures within a dynamic technology environment, supporting modernization and cybersecurity initiatives.
Position Overview for the Cloud Security Architect:
Lead the design and implementation of secure-by-default architectures across cloud-native, microservices, and AI-enabled systems. Ensure compliance with state and federal cybersecurity frameworks while supporting modernization efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into cloud solutions. Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for complex cloud environments. Secure microservices, APIs, and containerized environments, including integrating security into DevSecOps pipelines. Requirements for the Cloud Security Architect:
8+ years of experience in information security and systems architecture Proven experience designing secure cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred) In-depth knowledge of Texas Cybersecurity Framework (TCF) and NIST 800-53 Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust Architecture Experience performing threat modeling for complex systems What's in it for you?
