Service Management is responsible for proactive governance, control and continuous improvement of the Production Services Operating model, underlying IT operational processes and supporting tools to ensure optimal and effective service delivery, production stability and regulatory compliance.
Reporting and analysis of performance metrics to drive service delivery quality, mature capabilities that are common across processes and ensure that the processes are integrated to yield efficiencies and improvements that contribute to a more stable production environment.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize Oracle databases ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
Participate in planning and executing database migrations and application software upgrades/migrations.
Provide input into design issues/constraints and enforce data integrity across multiple platforms.
Manage logins and user accounts, including assigning database object permissions and ancillary privileges.
Schedule and manage jobs for data transfers and procedures and monitor performance and impact on operations.
Perform database performance monitoring and tuning; identify problems and implement solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and processes.
Required Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience working with Oracle database systems.
Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, performance tuning, and backup/recovery procedures.
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
Familiarity with database best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in ServiceNow.
dditional Information:
Duration: 5+ month contract opportunity
Hybrid Work Model: Three days onsite required weekly in Lake Mary, FL
Rate Range: $50-55/hr. W2 (based on experience)
