Sanderson are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join a Mechanical & Electrical team responsible for inspection, maintenance, and repair documentation across a wide range of complex infrastructure and operational facilities. This role involves supporting the team by developing high-quality technical documentation and maintaining structured, accurate information systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Research, draft, edit, and update high‑quality technical documents.
  • Produce, manage, and maintain a wide range of technical documentation.
  • Ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all documentation.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external service providers to gather and verify information.
  • Proven experience publishing papers, standards, or technical/engineering documentation.
  • Strong information management skills and process large volumes of complex data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Technical or scientific educational background.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with multiple teams.
  • Fluent English with excellent report‑writing skills.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in document management or technical writing.

Contract & Salary Details

  • 48‑week initial placement, with potential to extend up to 96 additional weeks. xcfaprz
  • Salary range: €50,000–€55,000, paid on an hourly rate.
  • 21 days annual leave (pro‑rata plus bank holidays)
  • 36‑hour work week, Monday to Friday during the day.
