About

The Systems Architect – Fleet Management Systems is responsible for analyzing business and functional requirements, designing, and delivering new architectural solutions and enhancing existing systems delivery. The System Architect interprets functional requirements and defines the architecture, associated interfaces and technical implementation. In addition to the technical aspects, the System Architect ensures effective communication and knowledge transfer from development partner, collaborating across multiple time zones and global teams in the performance of their duties.

Your missions:

Key Accountabilities:

—Analyse and understand existing systems functionalities and limitations, identifying opportunities for improvement.

—Defines the technical implementation, ensuring solutions are efficient, scalable, and aligned with the overall product line strategy: (Develops and maintains the Unified Product High Level Design and lower-level product specifications, Creates detailed system architecture diagrams, including component interactions and data flows, Defines dependencies and product interface requirements, Ensures system architecture conforms with functional safety requirements. Selects technologies and frameworks to standardised implementation, etc..).

—Breaks down the solution design into clear and actionable work packages for the software development team.

—Provide technical guidance and oversight in the system architecture, product specification and development process, including design support to address technical capabilities, bugs, and defects.

—Work with development partners and distributed engineering team for knowledge share and onboarding of the system.

—Represents the Autonomy Team at development partner and customer meetings.

Key Performance Indicators:

—Improvement opportunities identified and solution proposals documented.

—Deliverables are within scope and achieve functionality, reliability, and cost objectives/standards.

—Work packages are clear, actionable and understood by relevant stakeholders.

—Effective solutions and education provided.

—The Autonomy Team is fully briefed and aware of relevant notifications.

—Effective communications and knowledge transfer across all stakeholders.

—Resolve or escalate disputes/concerns in a timely manner.

—Feedback from relevant Operational/Divisional Key Stakeholders.

—Demonstration of Liebherr Behavioural and Leadership Competencies.

Your profile:
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in intensive system architecture design projects.
  • Specific development experience with fleet management and or autonomous haulage systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to travel internationally.

Desirable - Master of Engineering, Post Graduate level qualification in management and leadership, Strong working knowledge of agile development methodologies.

—Deep understanding of software engineering principles and best practice.

—Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex system architectures solutions.

—Strong knowledge in System Engineering PLM, MBSE,MBD, ISO 26262.

—Proven ability to analyse existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement.

—Experienced in C#.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Rest API, WebGL.

—Experienced in Linux systems.

—Experience with microservice architectures and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).

—Experience with database technologies: EventStoreDB, SQL Server and resporting.

—Strong understanding of system integration concepts and best practices.

—Excellent communication and collaborations skills, both technical and non-technical.
