Major investment Bank is looking for DevOps Engineer for a long term contract position in Plano, TX/Atlanta, GA

Pay Range :

$65/hr - $70/hr

Must Haves: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, etc.) and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, etc Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.) is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of REST APIs, proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, and a solid understanding of networks, load balancing, storage (SAN/NAS), and other relevant configurations. Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and methodologies Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc.) is a plus Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Problem-solving and analytical skills Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage the software development infrastructure, including cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure etc Automate processes across development, testing, and deployment using scripting languages and DevOps tools Implement and manage a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline for efficient code releases Configure and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools Monitor system health and performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues Collaborate with developers and operations teams to improve development and deployment processes Implement security best practices to ensure a secure development environment.
