An established and growing freight forwarding business based in Worcestershire is looking to appoint an Internal Sales Executive to strengthen its commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven freight professional who enjoys building relationships, generating opportunities, and supporting external sales with proactive pipeline development.
The Role
As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth from within the business. Working closely with operations and external BDMs, you'll focus on nurturing prospects, developing existing accounts, and identifying new commercial opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
Proactively contacting prospects to generate new business opportunities Following up on leads, quotations and lapsed accounts Supporting the external sales team with appointment setting and pipeline development Preparing and issuing competitive freight quotations (road, sea & air where applicable) Building strong relationships with customers to increase retention and spend Maintaining accurate CRM records and reporting on activity Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
