Job title: Assistant Store Manager
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the team and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role is a mix of hands-on leadership, coaching, and operational planning, helping to drive store performance, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and maintain operational excellence.
As a key link between the Store Manager and the wider team, you’ll help foster a high-performing culture, support recruitment and training, and deputise for the Store Manager when required.

Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week between Monday to Sunday - 2 days off in the week when working over the weekend Shifts can fall on: Monday to Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training to build a talented and motivated team
- Provide daily guidance, motivation, and coaching to staff
- Assist in performance reviews and feedback sessions
- Take ownership of developing team members and maintaining consistent standards
- Deputise for the Store Manager when needed
Customer Service
- Lead by example on the shop floor, delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and professionally
- Coach and motivate the team to maintain high service standards
Inventory & Visual Merchandising
- Assist with stock management, replenishment, and inventory checks
- Support peak period planning, promotions, and product launches
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to showcase the brand effectively
Operational Excellence
- Help ensure the store is clean, organised, and compliant with company standards
- Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, sales, and customer experience
Safety & Security
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers
- Assist with health and safety audits, risk assessments, and reporting concerns
- Maintain clear communication with the Store Manager and team
- Conduct team meetings to share updates, priorities, and performance results
- Collaborate with other stores and departments to share best practices
