$50 - $52 per hour Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Automation Test Engineer

with expertise in

UFT/QTP

to join our team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and executing

automated test strategies

for

web and middleware applications

to ensure quality, security, and seamless integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

API testing (SOAP & REST), security testing, and middleware technologies . Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute

automated test scripts

using

UFT/QTP . Perform

functional, integration, and security testing

for

web and middleware applications . Conduct

API testing (SOAP & REST)

and troubleshoot middleware components. Analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Participate in

defect triage

and provide clear documentation of test cases and defects. Utilize

test management tools

(Octane, ALM, Quality Center) for tracking and reporting. Stay up to date with

automation tools, best practices, and emerging technologies . Required Qualifications: 5+ years

of experience in

software testing and automation . 3+ years

of hands-on experience with

UFT/QTP automation . Strong knowledge of

API testing (SOAP & REST) . Experience in

middleware technologies and security testing . Familiarity with

database technologies (Oracle, SQL, Splunk) . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): Experience with

test management tools

like

Octane, ALM, or Quality Center . Exposure to

performance testing

and

CI/CD pipelines . Job Requirement
