Job Description: Required skills: Extensive experience in application upgrades, installations, and batch scheduling tools. 6+ years managing batch scheduling systems, including patching and configuration. 2-3 years hands-on with Redwood RunMyJobs: administration, setup, and troubleshooting. Skilled in designing and optimizing batch job schedules to meet SLAs. Strong troubleshooting abilities for CI/CD and migration-related issues. Proficient in managing job dependencies, calendars, and execution windows. Experienced in monitoring, analyzing, and improving job performance. Collaborative approach to integrating batch processes with business needs.
Nice to have skills: Proficiency in using batch scheduling tools and technologies (e.g., *** Tivoli Work Scheduler, Control-M, ActiveBatch) Understanding of Linux, Windows, and other relevant operating systems Ability to write scripts and automate tasks for scheduling and monitoring Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
