Introduction
This role focuses on software delivery management and software quality and issue resolution within the automotive industry. The position requires a dynamic individual who can manage software and calibration delivery, support driver assist features, and ensure compliance with central software requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science Minimum 2 years of experience with design or development in chassis or powertrain controls Design Release Engineer with minimum 2 years of software delivery management Software Systems with minimum 2 years in software quality and issue resolution Prior work experience in the automotive industry Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 Preferred Skills & Qualifications
2 years of experience in supplier management Experience with FMEA and related quality assurance processes Familiarity with vehicle network communication (e.g., CAN) Self-starter with outstanding leadership and communication skills Exposure to controls modeling (e.g., Matlab/Simulink, Stateflow, SysML) Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Handle Brake Controls software and calibration delivery management Guide supplier partners through the Ford Global Product Development System (GPDS) Deliver software work packages through the software change management process Investigate Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) issues, including Quality Early Detection (QED) Support prototype vehicle builds and release diagnostics specifications Lead Software Technical Design Reviews (TDRs)
