The Application Operations Analyst is an individual contributor role responsible for the reliable, secure, and efficient day-to-day operation of enterprise business applications, with a primary focus on core ERP platforms and supporting operational systems. This position supports application stability, incident resolution, and operational readiness while contributing to configuration, testing, and targeted enhancement activities. The Analyst partners closely with Business Users, Business Analysts, IT, and external partners to ensure systems perform as expected and business disruptions are minimized.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following with other duties assigned as needed.
Application Operations & Support
Provide operational support for ERP platforms and related business and manufacturing applications. Monitor application performance, integrations, interfaces, scheduled jobs, and batch processes to ensure availability and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve application, data, and configuration issues, recommending effective and sustainable solutions. Escalate complex issues as appropriate and coordinate resolution with internal teams or Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
Application Configuration, Development & Testing
Configure, support, and maintain ERP and supporting application components under established standards, including reports, workflows, integrations, and automation tools. Assist with development and maintenance of application enhancements, reports, interfaces, and data processes as assigned. Improve system quality and team member efficiency by configuring, testing, and validating software for new and existing applications. Learn and support additional tools, scripting languages, and integration technologies as needed to support operational and business requirements. Validate system outputs, data accuracy, and reporting results across supported applications.
Incident, Change & Problem Management
Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests assigned through the Helpdesk from intake through resolution. Analyze incidents and trends to identify root causes and reduce recurring operational issues. Support release, patching, and change activities to ensure minimal disruption to business operations. Document resolutions, workarounds, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
Business Collaboration & Analysis
Collaborate with Sartori Business Users and Business Analysts to provide functional, technical, and data-level insight for supported applications. Assist in designing and explaining new or existing solutions by analyzing, defining, and documenting workflows, business processes, and system-to-system interfaces. Support project activities across the software development lifecycle, including requirements clarification, testing, and deployment readiness.
Continuous Improvement & Governance
Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, monitoring, and overall support effectiveness. Contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and application support documentation. Support governance, security, and compliance requirements related to application operations. Perform limited travel as needed to support project implementations. Participate in the Business Systems team’s on-call rotation to support the business during and outside of normal business hours.
DIRECT REPORTS
This position has no direct reports and operates as an individual contributor within the Business Systems Run team, with accountability for coordinating with and overseeing Managed Service Providers (MSPs), including performance monitoring, prioritization, and service delivery alignment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred, equivalent experience considered. 4–7 years of experience supporting ERP platforms or enterprise business applications in an operational or analyst role. Demonstrated experience in application support, incident management, configuration, and testing. Working knowledge of ERP systems, reporting tools, integrations, and batch processing. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with integrated application environments and SaaS platforms. Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in a support-driven environment. Strong communication skills and customer service mindset.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
WORK LOCATION
This is a hybrid position (3 days in-office / 2 days remote) located at our Pleasant View office in Plymouth, WI; candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional travel is required to meet the needs of the business (up to 25%). A valid driver’s license is required.
