We are seeking an experienced
Data
Analyst
who will use data and analytics to improve operational and financial performance across the business. This role works closely with leaders from multiple departments to support planning, reporting, and decision-making in areas such as sales, production, finance, purchasing, and operations. The position plays a key role in developing and enhancing business reporting and planning tools, including Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and other similar systems.
Key Responsibilities of the Data Analyst:
Create and maintain
Power BI
reports
to track key business metrics and performance.
Analyze data to
identify trends, risks, and actionable insights.
Build efficient
data queries , notebooks, and pipelines using
Microsoft Fabric
to support reporting and planning tools.
Develop and support
Anaplan
models for planning and forecasting across sales, production, finance, purchasing, and operations.
Ensure planning accuracy by building controls and validations within Anaplan.
Design intuitive
Power BI dashboards
and Anaplan pages that are easy for business users to navigate and self-serve.
Support
predictive and forward-looking analysis
related to sales, operations, and efficiency.
Prioritize data requests and projects based on business impact.
Gain a strong understanding of business systems such as ERP, WMS, TMS, and other operational platforms.
Enable business users
with accessible data and tools, reducing the need for ad-hoc data requests.
Preferred Experience of the Data Analyst:
3-5 years experience in a Data Analyst or BI Analyst role
Experience analyzing complex datasets and translating business questions into actionable insights
Hands-on experience building
Power BI reports, dashboards and deployment pipelines
Experience with
SQL
including queries, stored procedures, views, select, joins
Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse or similar platforms
Understanding of
ETL
Pipelines
Strong business acumen
Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders
Strong ability to build relationships
with department leads, end users and stakeholders
Familiarity with KPI development, trend analysis, forecasting and variance analysis
Ability to understand business objectives, strategies, and directions and ability to develop and implement action plans accordingly
Adaptable, curious and driven
Comfortable working
Onsite
Bonus Experience of the Data Analyst:
Certifications such as Power BI PL-300, Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, or Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate
Working knowledge of
Microsoft Fabric
including Lakehouse & Warehouse concepts, Dataflows, OneLake and Semantic Models
Experience with Pandas or PySpark
DAX measures and Power Query
Advanced Excel experience including formulas, macros, pivot tables
Experience with Anaplan
Experience working within a manufacturing organization
