Job Description: Client is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer for a short-term staff augmentation engagement based in Ambler, PA. This is a 90-day contract (approx. 520 hours) supporting day-to-day network operations, troubleshooting, and remote office upgrade initiatives. This role requires someone comfortable working onsite 2-3 days per week, collaborating closely with internal IT teams, and stepping in immediately to support their ongoing infrastructure & networking needs.
What You'll Be Doing • Providing general network support and troubleshooting • Supporting remote office network upgrades and refresh projects • Assisting with firewall, routing, and switching configurations • Supporting IPSec VPN connectivity • Participating in project-based network initiatives as needed • Occasional evening or weekend work for office upgrade cutovers • Most work will occur during standard business hours. Required Technical Skills (Must Have) • Fortinet (FortiGate Firewalls, FortiSwitch, FortiManager) • Cisco or Aruba Switches • Cisco Routers • Strong routing & switching fundamentals • IPSec VPN configuration and troubleshooting
