Job Descriptions

Responsible for the certification of consumer robotics products, including:

  • Provide standard training service during the design phase of customer robot products, guiding customer to familiarize the functional safety standard requirements in the product design, development, and testing processes.
  • Analyze the safety architecture of robotic products, assisting clients in designing system architectures that comply with functional safety requirements, including safety mechanisms (monitoring, redundancy, diagnostics, etc.)
  • Proficient in applying methods such as FMEA and FTA to analyze systems, hardware, and software, verifying the safety and reliability of the architecture.
  • Prepare test cases covering all critical safety functions based on the product design documentation and failure modes and effects analysis report.
  • Develop technical safety requirements and verify, including at the hardware, software, and system levels, validate the performance of safety related control systems, conduct fault insertion tests, and evaluate whether the system is safe and reliable.
  • Based on the test data, conduct a detailed analysis of the root causes of safety hazards and assist the client in design improvements.
  • Issue the report and ensure the project is completed on time and to quality standards.
  • Actively expand business in the consumer robotics sector.
Background requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related fields, with a master's degree preferred.
  • Proficient in hardware fundamentals, analog electronics, digital circuit analysis and design, familiar with microcontrollers, and knowledgeable about common hardware failure modes, diagnostic techniques, and redundancy design.
  • Be proficient in key robotics technologies such as motion control, SLAM, navigation, obstacle avoidance, and human-robot interaction, and capable of analyzing their safety implications.
  • Possess certain computer programming skills (Python, C language), capable of reading and understanding code logic.
  • Experience in product hardware design and development, with embedded software development being a plus. Prior experience in the consumer electronics industry, particularly in robotics-related products, is preferred.
  • Fluent in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English.
