The Position

As Senior Process Manager in our Source to Pay Compliance and Legal Process Management team, you will be part of the Global Business Services (GBS) organization at Boehringer Ingelheim. As part of our motivated team, you will drive changes within our global Legal and Compliance network.

  • As part of your role, you will take ownership of designing, deploying, measuring, and governing globally harmonized legal and compliance processes transitioned to GBS.
  • In this position, you will guide international project teams through the build and implementation phases, ensuring a seamless transition from Legal & Compliance to GBS Service Teams.
  • Working closely with colleagues from GBS and Legal & Compliance at corporate and local levels, you will develop and roll out new processes while integrating appropriate practices into the existing GBS framework.
  • You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement by collaborating with Legal & Compliance and the GBS Center Network to refine processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Together with relevant stakeholders, you will identify and transition new Legal & Compliance services, ensuring smooth implementation and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Your responsibilities will include optimizing data usage and automation potential within process design, while ensuring professional documentation aligned with GBS standards.
  • You will oversee and monitor adherence to all implemented processes.
  • By defining and implementing utilization and performance metrics, you will leverage systems and dashboards to monitor and analyze relevant data effectively.

  • University degree in Legal, Compliance, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification with a strong focus on process and analytical thinking
  • Several years of experience in Legal and/or Compliance Processes
  • Extensive experience in process management including leading international projects with diverse and multidisciplinary teams
  • Solid operational background in life sciences and/or commercial settings, combined with expertise in lean management (e.g., Six Sigma certification)
  • Strong team player with exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively facilitate workshops and steer project teams
  • Fluent in English, with several years of international experience in a professional business environment
