We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate in the bustling city of Los Angeles, California. As a crucial member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for a wide range of warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This role demands a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. We are looking for individuals who are physically capable of lifting and are eager to contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against documentation.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for safe transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, with a focus on the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counting and stock reconciliation.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and safety standards.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear designated PPE.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and a dedicated work ethic.
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a productive team environment.
