Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team in Austin, Texas. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders quickly and correctly. You will work in a fast-paced environment, often collaborating with other team members to meet daily targets. Your attention to detail will be paramount in identifying correct product codes, quantities, and ensuring items are packed safely and efficiently. Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus, but not required as comprehensive training will be provided. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
  • Verify product codes and quantities against order details.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and policies.
  • Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Participate in inventory counts as required.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding any discrepancies or issues.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes.
