Join our team as a skilled Forklift Operator in Seattle, Washington, and be a key player in our warehouse operations. We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of materials within our facility. Responsibilities include operating various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory to and from storage areas, and assist with order fulfillment. A strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and efficient logistics management is essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and load/unload materials.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily for safety and maintenance needs.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through proper material handling.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely.
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned when not operating a forklift.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to perform Lifting and moving of items up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including steel-toed boots and high-visibility vests.
- Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
