Seeking a diligent and organized Receiving Clerk to become a vital part of our logistics team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the efficient and accurate intake of all incoming goods into our warehouse. Your duties will include unloading shipments, verifying delivery contents against purchase orders, inspecting items for damage, and properly documenting all receipts. A meticulous approach and a strong understanding of warehouse operations are essential. Responsibilities:
- Unloading incoming shipments from trucks and containers.
- Verifying received goods against shipping documents and purchase orders.
- Inspecting incoming inventory for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately recording received items into the inventory management system.
- Organizing and stocking received goods in designated warehouse areas.
- Communicating with vendors and internal departments regarding delivery issues.
- Maintaining a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhering to all safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Assisting with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
- Ensuring timely processing of all incoming freight to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a related warehouse role.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (IMS) and WMS.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Ability to perform manual lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
