Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Monitoring inventory levels and reporting on stock movements.
- Implementing and enforcing inventory control policies and procedures.
- Working with warehouse staff to ensure accurate receiving and shipping processes.
- Maintaining inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Identifying and reporting damaged or expired goods.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for inventory accuracy.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role within a logistics environment.
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with PPE requirements in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
